The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles was designed by the architect Frank Gehry and is currently home to the Los Angeles Phil Harmonic. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of seeing the New World Symphony with Eschenbach at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The acoustics inside the concert hall are every bit as amazing as its reputation claims. The Beethoven Violin Concerto, which was perfomed that evening by Augustin Hadelich, instantly sent chills up my spine. Tickets to see a performance at the concert hall can be pricey but if you love classical music, it’s quite worth it. The acoustics inside the concert hall are said to be of the finest in the world.
