It had been a long evening of freezing my butt off in the cold wind while wandering all over the Marin Headlands. I couldn’t return back to my hotel just yet though. I had heard that the Palace of the Fine Arts is a must see at night time. After watching the Golden Gate Bridge light up into the twilight hour, I made my way down to the Vista Point parking lot on the north end of the Bridge to catch a cab.
When I arrived at the Palace, I wandered around a bit to enjoy the beauty of it all at night. The highlight though was being able to lay down on my back, without a single soul around, and stare up at the beautiful architecture.
