2012 was a great year for me for Photography. I largely worked on my Coastal collection throughout the year. I started capturing many of the hidden beaches throughout Orange County and initiated a project to capture all of the piers on the west coast of the United States. My favorite Pier photograph for 2012 is this shot of the Huntington Beach Pier that I captured just hours after a very heavy rainfall.
I still have much work to do with my Coastal photography and plan on expanding my collection as I continue to explore the coastal regions throughout Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
As much as I love the coast, I also love big cities and architecture. I have decided to continue expanding on my Metropolitan collection as well, with a new Los Angeles project that I’m kicking off this month and a Neon Signs project I started late last year. I have an incredible shot list I created for 2013 and am very excited about the all of the photos I will be publishing this year. I’m not going to share my shot list though, so you’ll just have to wait and see what interesting photos I capture this year.
